We have finished researching Paul Revere! The students have been working so hard on their research. We are going to work on our projects next week. The children can do anything they want to present the question, “What would the country be like if Paul Revere had not lived?”. I’m looking forward to seeing what they create!

This week we talked about multiplication strategies. We talked about how to use arrays, repeated addition, groups, skip counting, and number lines to help use find our answers. Put a page in our math journal to help us remember the strategies. We also had our first math live lesson this week and we got to be the class on TV! The live lesson was also talking about multiplication strategies, so we were experts on the topic! We are going to continue practicing these skills next week.
- Report Cards went home today. Please look over them with you child. This is a great time to set goals and talk about your child’s progress. Let them be part of the discussion.
- Please make sure you are checking your child’s agenda every night. This is where we write down our homework and upcoming tests. I check their agenda each day to see if it is signed. Encourage your child to be responsible and bring their agenda to you to sign; however, if you do not see it, please ask your child to see it.
