We have finished researching and putting together our projects on Paul Revere using our own devices, laptops in the classroom, and posters. The children have worked really hard on their projects and research. We are going to be presenting the information next week. I will take pictures of them with their projects, so you can see your child with their projects. I am really excited to see what they have done!

This week we continued to talk about multiplication strategies. We have talked about using arrays and groups to draw pictures to help us. Repeated addition is another strategy that can help us if we are stuck. We also talked about skip counting and using a number line for problems with friendly numbers such as 2, 5, or 10. In order to help with fact families we also used number bonds. We are going to use many of the same strategies to help us with division. We are going to have a math quiz next Friday. Please make sure your student knows/understands all the math concepts we have talked about so far. Expect their math journal to come home each night next week.
- Information about Laps for Longhorns is going home today in Friday Folders. Please look it over. This is a great fundraiser for our school.
- Book Orders were sent home today. If you are going to order, please send in a check or order online by November 6th.
- Please make sure you are checking your child’s agenda every night. This is where we write down our homework and upcoming tests. I check their agenda each day to see if it is signed. Encourage your child to be responsible and bring their agenda to you to sign; however, if you do not see it, please ask your child to see it.
