Language Arts

We worked on some spelling patterns.  We looked at vowels and endings.  We also read the story Sam and the Lucky Money.  We talked about setting, which is talking about where the story takes place.  We are wrapping up assignments this week and next.  Any missing assignments will be made up this coming week.

Read Aloud: Hank the Cowdog: The Case of the One-Eyed Killer Stud Horse

Math

We have wrapped up a lot of our curriculum.  We have been talking about inches, feet and yards.  We have been comparing them and practicing using rulers.  We are going to be trying to learn our facts over the next few weeks.  We want to be ready for 4th grade!
